The declaration of our patent about Planet Roll

Do you remember you once played a rolling ball game at the carnival in the past? Rolling a huge ball along the tracks, making it stay in the valley, and then win your prizes. That’s a funny game in your memories, right?

In year 2017. a Guangzhou amusement equipment company combined this traditional game with electronic components and intelligent controls, creating a more advanced rolling ball gaming machine. They also applied a utility model patent for this machine. The patent No. Is CN 208092874 U. This patent authorization was published on 2018 November 13 to the public. At that time, we, Guangzhou Palm Fun Electronics Co., Ltd., realized that this game had the potential to become a popular redemption arcade machine. Therefore, on 2019 January 1, we signed an authorization for this utility model patent with the patent owner, permitting us to level up the gameplay based on it.

After that, we began to develop our new machine based on this patent and created a redemption game machine called “Planet Roll”.

 

             

 

As a R&D company, we respect intellectual property and patent projects. We never infringe on the hard work of others, and we also protect ourselves. In 2021, as our new machine development was completed, we applied for updated patents for our machine at once. And our licenses for the utility model patent and the appearance design patent were passed and published on 2021 December 7.

Our designs were already admitted by the Intellectual Property Office of China, and getting the appearance design patent right evaluation report. But unfortunately, it was copied by another amusement equipment enterprise. The same structure, the same gameplay, even the same machine size. Our Planet Roll became their FireBall. This behavior hurt us so much. They skipped all the research and development progress and ignored all the patent restrictions, grabbing our markets. This is shameful behavior.

By the way, we are not the only injured party. At the IAAPA Orlando 2023, one of their products was covered in a black cloth by the official office because of the patent issue too.

 

     

                         

 

Now, we have decided to fight back. We have hired a powerful legal team to sue the company on this matter to protect our rights and interests, also to deal with those of others who attempting to infringe our patents.
